Life as... Day as... a Work in Progress

Everything we do, I suppose, is a work in progress. That said, what I say, what I do, is on view for the world to see.
I am confident I have improved. However, I am currently in a slump in my life. If anybody wishes me to do a particular task, and give me an opportunity, I will be extremely grateful. I am easy to contact. I can be found at this blog. I am on Google+. I am on FB, but I generally don't like to add too many people to Facebook, for privacy reasons, although I am finding fewer and fewer reasons to use Facebook.
I am a very good writer. I am a very good speller. I have a very good intuition - something which might not seem scientific, but is, ultimately related to things that are found via scientific pursuits.
I am a decent photographer. I am not, of course, a photographer with a vast technical knowledge or career background behind me. But that could change.

I am also musician. I play flute. I am also currently on the lookout for a decent guitar teacher here in Taiwan. I have a guitar and I would like to learn, so that I can write songs. I frequently get ideas for songs in my had in a way I never really had for long periods of time when I tried to write stories, novels, essays, etc. It's not that I think that inspiration comes mysteriously from above. I really don't. But I do think that I have more clarity when it comes to relating different forms of art, or expression, or communication. If I just try to do one, it doesn't seem I can reach the thing I want to express. The path is blocked. I become isolated from both myself and my world.

I seem to remember that Michael Turton wrote about one of his biking tours for the Huffington Post some time ago. Media which are comparatively open for contributions from outside should be worth a try. Just think of a project which could help to present Taiwan to people who know very little about the place. Then either contact one or another platform in advance, or with a ready-made article (and some photos, of course).
